Notes

  • All statistics provided by KAIDA are based on the registration data MOLIT collects.
  • Statistics are based on KAIDA members' CV (including bodybuilder) registrations among imported automobiles registered in the country.
  • CV statistics are searchable from January 2017, and the registration statistics for the previous month are updated on the 30th of each month.
  • 2017 ~ 2018 statistics include tractor, cargo, van and bus. From 2019, dump registrations are included in the statistics.
  • %Share indicates each brand’s share of total registrations in the selected month or year, and %Change indicates the rate of change compared to the previous month or year.
  • Although IVECO, Mercedes-Benz, and Mercedes-Benz Van are not KAIDA members, they are included in the statistics to provide more comprehensive market information.
  • Some VAN models previously included under Mercedes-Benz until March 2022 are separately aggregated under Mercedes-Benz Van from April 2022.
  • Starting from September 2025, Daimler Trucks Korea will be renamed and referred to as Star Truck Korea.
